Egmarey certainly has enough ability to win a race off this mark but doesn´t look straightforward, getting herself behind early on before consenting to run on in the final 2f. |

Egmarey, back in trip, would have probably given with the winner plenty more to think about had she not made such a tardy start. She showed her talent when getting into contention from halfway, but paid for that mid-race move when the winner kicked for home and was well held at the finish. A stiffer test is probably what she needs and this was more like it again, but it may well be that some headgear is now required.

Egmarey is a half-sister to Ebony Eyes, who won twice at three, over 1m3f and 1m4f, and it wouldn´t be a surprise if she too ends up competing over further, as she was putting in her best work at the finish here having not enjoyed the clearest of runs. |
