Say No Now’s French engagement

SAY NO Now is all set to head to France for a Listed assignment next Monday, trainer David Lanigan has indicated.
The Refuse To Bend filly, third in a Goodwood Listed race two weeks ago, will journey across the Channel to Saint-Cloud for the Prix des Lilas.
She completed her preparations for the 1m contest – for three-year-old fillies only – this morning when pleasing in a gallop on Racecourse Side.
Lanigan said: “She worked with a lead horse and went very nicely under Ted Durcan. That should put her spot on and she should run well in France where Olivier Peslier will ride her.
“We are dropping her back to a mile and, while she gained some place ‘black type’ at a mile and a quarter, that was down to her class rather than her truly staying that trip.”
